Operations Coordinator
Elaine Walsh
Elaine Walsh (she/her) is excited to be the Operations Coordinator for PEPS. She is passionate about helping families get connected to groups and resources to alleviate the potential isolation during their parenting journey. Elaine’s journey began when she participated in a Newborn PEPS Group just six days after her daughter’s birth. This firsthand encounter with PEPS and other family support systems prompted her transition from a role as Manager of Marketing Analytics to a fulfilling career centered around aiding families with young children. She started by facilitating PEPS Groups and worked hard to become a Birth and Family Educator. For almost six years, Elaine taught expectant parents and grandparents about newborn care, infant safety, and CPR. She also helps facilitate the “practice teaching" sessions at Bastyr University’s Childbirth Educator Training Program.
Outside of PEPS: Elaine lives in Kirkland with her husband and two kids. She loves spending time with her family playing board games, watching movies, and paddle boarding on the lake. She also enjoys crocheting little amigurumi stuffed yarn creatures and listening to audiobooks. Elaine is actively involved in her kids’ school PTA and loves to volunteer whenever possible.
Education: Elaine has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration with a Leadership Formation specialization from Seattle University.
