Experienced Group Leader - Refresher Training

We offer 2-hour refreshers for experienced Leaders who last trained or led groups in 2022. Please RSVP to sign up for a refresher training.

If you last led or trained in 2021 or earlier, email  for next steps.

In 2022, we provided 445 hours of extensive training to 140 volunteer Group Leaders to lead inclusive conversations on 50 discussion topics. PEPS volunteers are passionate and committed to supporting new parents through their baby's first several months of life.

Lead a PEPS Group

Group Leaders create a welcoming space for new parents to share, connect, and support one another. In 2022, 3,505 parents counted on the support of our volunteers! PEPS Groups continue to meet virtually, with selected groups meeting in person at community sites. Group Leader volunteer training continues to be offered virtually.

Kaeti D. shares her favorite thing about leading PEPS Groups.

"I am so thankful that we can still hold PEPS classes despite not meeting in person. The PEPS staff has been incredibly supportive, and the training provided helped me develop the skills I needed to facilitate on Zoom. I've learned about group chats, sharing documents - and, most importantly, how to keep the same non-judgmental and supportive environment our parents deserve.

For the group, it feels like we are meeting in person as the sharing is real and gritty, and the overwhelming support they give each other is so heartwarming! Now, more than ever, these parents need community, and these meetings provide just that."
