Zoe Barker-Aderem, Donor Relations Manager
Zoe Barker-Aderem (she/her) is responsible for managing and strategically expanding the PEPS Giving Program through donor stewardship, as well as events and campaigns such as the annual Luncheon. She is thrilled to be a small part of assisting thousands of people in our community as they begin their journeys as parents. If you ever feel like sharing your PEPS story, she’d love to connect with you!

Prior to joining PEPS, Zoe spent the past five years working in development, outreach, and youth programs at a nonprofit, building water and sanitation systems in Honduras, Bangladesh, Mozambique, and Ethiopia.

Outside of PEPS: Zoe is a mostly lapsed playwright with a commitment to increasing access to the arts in under-served communities. For the last five years, she has taught creative writing in the King County Correctional Facility as part of a cohort of volunteer teachers. Zoe spends most of her time outside work connecting with friends, getting outdoors, curling up with a good book, and learning new ways to make art. (And alright, alright, watching Netflix!)

Education: Zoe earned a BA in International Studies and Creative Writing from the University of Washington.

Favorite quote: “It wasn't only wickedness and scheming that made people unhappy, it was confusion and misunderstanding; above all, it was the failure to grasp the simple truth that other people are as real as you.” ― Ian McEwan
