Having another baby isn't just a repeat, it's a rebalancing. You're caring for a newborn while staying connected to the child or children who already depend on you. This group creates space to talk through that adjustment with others in the same position, offering connection and perspective.
Groups are designed for parents with a new baby aged 2-20 weeks old in a family with one or more older children at home. One parent attends each week with their baby; older children do not attend meetings.
Groups are offered virtually and in person at community sites or in homes. For site-based groups, families meet at the same location each week. For in-home groups, families rotate hosting duties. Virtual groups are organized by region so you can connect with parents near you.
Groups meet weekly with a small, consistent set of parents. You’ll be with others who understand the juggle of multiple children, even if you’ve never met before.
A facilitator helps guide conversations, but much of the value comes from shared experience—what’s working, what’s hard, and what no one really prepares you for.
Discussions focus on the shifting dynamics of a growing family. You may talk about sibling adjustment, divided attention, routines that no longer work, and the emotional experience of parenting more than one child.
There’s also space to check in on newborn development and share what daily life actually looks like right now.
