Demystifying College Savings Plans

WA529 Event

As a parent, you want to ensure your child has the opportunities in life that will bring them joy and success, whatever that looks like to your family. And while they’re still in diapers, you might already be thinking about the moments when they’ll be leaving home to attend college, a trade school, or pursuing an apprenticeship. You know that opening up a college savings plan can help make those dreams a reality and can help your child avoid graduating with debt. Perhaps you have read the articles, maybe even looked up some resources…..and yet, the actual task of opening one up can seem lengthy and daunting.

Join PEPS and Washington’s College Savings Plan (WA529) for an online conversation on the decisions and steps families can take to start saving for a child’s education fund. Jackie Ferrado, the Community Relations Manager at WA529, will be our guide and will highlight the decisions and steps to get started, along with sharing information and resources.
