LGBTQIA+ Family Picnic
PEPS is thrilled to be celebrating the introduction of our LGBTQIA+ Affinity Groups and is hosting a picnic in honor of this milestone. Come and meet neighbors, catch up with your group members, introduce your children, and build a stronger community with parents who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Members of the PEPS Queer Caucus will be on hand to offer informal facilitation of activities and answer questions about our organization and programming.
Event Details
What: An informal gathering for LGBTQIA+ parents to meet in person. PEPS will provide light refreshments and snacks. This event will be lightly facilitated by members of the PEPS Queer Caucus, supporting connection among attendees with informal ice-breaker exercises.
Who: Past participants of our LGBTQIA+ Affinity Groups, as well as LGBTQIA+ families who have participated in Newborn PEPS Groups.
When: Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 3 - 5 pm
Where: Seward Park – 5900 Lake Washington Blvd S, Seattle, WA 98118. For the safety and privacy of attendees, participants will receive further location details upon registering.
Cost: This event is offered at no cost to attendees thanks to our generous PEPS donors and supporters who make it possible for PEPS to offer free events like this to our community. Please consider showing your support for PEPS and make a gift online.
