Event Details
What: An online presentation and discussion with Jackie Ferrado, Associate Director of Community Engagement at Washington Education Savings Plans (WA529). There will be an opportunity to get your questions answered by Jackie, too!
Who: This event is for parents with a child of any age.
When: Tuesday, March 10, from 7 - 8:15 pm

Meet Our Presenter - Jackie Ferrado
Jackie Ferrado is the Associate Director for Community Engagement with Washington 529 College and Education Savings Plans (WA529), a division of the Washington Student Achievement Council. She brings more than 26 years of experience helping Washington families better understand college savings plans and practical steps toward managing future education costs. Throughout her career, she has represented WA529 by presenting information, building meaningful partnerships, and collaborating with community organizations to make complex topics easier to understand and connect families and organizations with trusted resources. Her work has helped hundreds of families start saving earlier and feel more confident as they plan for their children’s education journeys.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Management from The Evergreen State College. Outside of work, she is a proud mom of two, a grandmother of four and a devoted dog-mom to one.
