Peer Dynamics Unraveled: Understanding Your Adolescent's Social World
There are a multitude of social aspects and stressors that are common to the adolescent developmental stage. Through the Program for Parents of Adolescents and Teens (PAT), PEPS strives to provide the support, resources, and connection critical to navigating this parenting stage.
Join us for an online presentation and discussion tailored for parents and caregivers of adolescents and led by trained facilitators. Come and learn with other families about how parents can provide a space of safety and stability and help their teens feel more self-assured in navigating complex social dynamics, resisting unsafe peer pressure, dealing with bullying, forging meaningful friendships, and expressing their identities in a healthy way as they grow into adulthood.
This event is designed to help parents connect, share, and walk away with approaches they can take to be helpful and supportive to their adolescents. Participants will learn together while gathering tools and tactics and will have the opportunity to participate in small group discussions.
Attend this event to understand more about how to support your adolescent with:
- Insight into friendships
- Managing cliques and peer pressure
- Navigating bullying and rejection
- Monitoring and coordinating their social events
The online presentation will be led by one of our PAT Program Group Leaders, Lilach Geppert-Shapira.
