PEPS is pleased to present the 2013 Spirit of PEPS Donor Award

The Spirit of PEPS Donor Award recognizes outstanding individuals, foundations or corporations for their impactful financial investment in PEPS.

In addition to honoring our amazing volunteers, we also honor outstanding donors each year.

The PEPS model works because we have both: the time and skills of our volunteers and the financial investment of our donor community.

The recipient of the 2013 Spirit of PEPS Donor award went to a special couple who has been supporting PEPS for 20 years.

Cathy and David Habib made their first gift to PEPS in 1995 when Cathy started her PEPS Group with her first daughter Rachel. Then, PEPS Groups lasted six months, and her group decided to stick together and meet every week after that.

Rachel is in college now, but Cathy’s PEPS Group is still a part of her life! Their group was featured last year in a video shown at our luncheon. Throughout the years Cathy and David continued to support PEPS very generously showing their gratitude to the organization that brought them together.

And last year they joined our Sustainer Circle committing their support for three more years. We are truly humbled by their generosity.

It takes a village not just to raise a child, but also to keep an organization like PEPS going. We would not be able to keep PEPS going without our village of PEPS supporters, without ambassadors like Cathy and David, who so wholeheartedly believe in our mission and vision and have made an impactful investment in PEPS for 20 years.
