Volunteers are an extraordinary part of the PEPS community and the reason PEPS programs are so effective and meaningful.

Refresher Trainings for Experienced Group Leaders

We now offer quick 2-hour refreshers for experienced leaders who last trained or led groups in 2018. If you last led or trained in 2017 or earlier, please sign up for a full training as listed above. Location is the Good Shepherd Center in Wallingford, unless noted.

98% of PEPS groups are facilitated by volunteers. PEPS volunteers are passionate about supporting new parents through the first months of life with a new baby. Over 4,100 parents rely on PEPS volunteers each year.

Lead A Group

More Ways to Volunteer


  • Special Events: Take part in fundraising events like helping decorate for the Luncheon. Help out at community-building events like Renton River Days or BabyFest. Let us know what interests you!
  • Guest Speakers: Share your professional expertise with parents on topics such as Early Learning, Couples' Relationships, Self-Care for Parents, Infant Safety & CPR and many more. Please read our Introduction for Guest Speakers and fill out the Application and Speaker Agreement.
  • PEPS Office: Help behind the scenes and on special projects at our office in Wallingford. Regularly scheduled and as-needed opportunities. Data entry, mailings, etc. Let us know what interests you!
  • Help Us Get the Word Out: It may seem like "everybody" knows about PEPS, but we serve just 10% of families having first babies in our area. And, most parents hear about PEPS from personal recommendations. Help us Get the Word Out with these easy ideas.
  • Board of Directors: The people on our board lend their passion, skills and expertise to help guide PEPS. Learn more about our Board of Directors and how to apply.
