Protocols for Positive COVID Case in Your PEPS Group
If you test positive for COVID, please follow these steps:
- Notify the Group Leader that you’ve tested positive and let them know the date of your test. Please also let them know if you have been symptomatic. Your name will remain anonymous when we let the group know that there’s been a positive case. If you are the Group Leader, go to step #2.
- Notify your Community Connector that there has been a positive COVID test. This is the PEPS staff person that is assigned to your Group and who manages your region.
- The Community Connector will notify the PEPS Operations Director.
- PEPS Staff will get in touch with the group via email and let them know that they need to participate in a virtual format for 14 days after the positive test.
- After 14 days, participants can return to the in-person format.
