Registered event guests can sign their children up for childcare here.

Who is the childcare provider?

Rosie Banner Childcare FAQ

We are partnering with our community partner, Rosie, to offer childcare at our PEPS Benefit Luncheon.

Rosie is a Seattle-based, (PEPS Alumni) parent-founded company obsessed with making parents' lives easier. We match families with a trusted bench of Pros (babysitters & household help) so that with one text, someone you know and love is booked and ready to help. One flat fee covers all hours, logistics, and detailed guidebooks to make every handoff seamless.

WHAT IS A ROSIE PRO?

A vetted, background & reference checked care professional who loves helping families with home and child care.

Where is event childcare offered?

Event Childcare is offered at Seattle Children's Museum, located in the Seattle Center Armory, right next to Fisher Pavilion, where the PEPS Benefit Luncheon is held.

What’s the age range of the children at your event childcare?

Rosie is able to offer care for children between ages 18 months to 6 years at the event. Babes in arms are welcome at the PEPS Benefit Luncheon.

CHILDCARE ACTIVITIES

Seattle Children's Museum is closed to the public on Tuesdays, and has generously offered exclusive use of the entire museum. Exhibits at the museum are safe and thoughtfully designed for children 10 and under. The Orca Cove area is completely enclosed and specifically designed for children 0-3. Additional arts or STEM focused activities may also be offered.

HOW MANY SPACES ARE AVAILIBLE?

Event Childcare is offered for up to 40 children on a space-available basis. However, there will be a waiting list after spaces are filled up. In the past, all children on the waiting list could be accommodated.

When is childcare available?

Children can be dropped off as early as 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 and must be picked up by 1:15 pm.

Is there a cost for the event childcare?

Event childcare is complementary for our event guests. We hope guests who take advantage of event childcare will give generously during our event.

Is there a registration deadline?

The registration deadline is April 28, 2026, but space may fill before then. There will be a waiting list after spaces are filled up. If you have signed up and don’t need childcare anymore, PLEASE be sure to let Rosie know by emailing hi@rosiematch.com or texting (206) 593-3757.

What do I need to bring?

Since childcare will take place during the lunch hour, each child must have a pre-packed nut-free lunch with them. You will also need to pack diapers, nap time mat and bottles if applicable. Please clearly mark all your child's belongings with your child's name. And please bring anything that might help your child feel comfortable (blanket, stuffed animal…).

What if my child cries while I’m away?

Each parent must provide a cell phone number that will be available for use during the PEPS Benefit Luncheon (on vibrate), so that Rosie can contact you in case of a medical emergency or meltdown.

Can I register my child with special needs in the event childcare?

Yes! You of course know your child best, and whether they would be ok in this setting, but Rosie strives to and has successfully accommodated a wide range of special needs and individual differences. Please connect with Rosie ahead of time (hi@rosiematch.com or text (206) 593-3757with your specific needs so we can staff the right Rosie Pros for your needs!

I have registered my child for the event childcare, but our plans have changed.

If your plans change and you cannot attend the PEPS Benefit Luncheon anymore or no longer need childcare, PLEASE contact Rosie by  emailing hi@rosiematch.com or texting (206) 593-3757 right away letting them know that your childcare spot is no longer needed. We typically fill up our event childcare and maintain a waiting list. Letting us know right away allows another family to take advantage of the childcare.
