Baby Peppers
The PEPS Baby Peppers program is designed for new parents to attend with their baby, aged 5-12 months. Groups are available for one parent to attend with their baby (the same parent every week). Groups come together for 11 weeks, with time for sharing parenting highs and lows, time to focus on the babies' development, and a discussion topic*. Meetings also include time for informal socializing and connecting with other parents. PEPS Groups continue to meet virtually, with selected groups meeting in person at community sites.
Who Attends: One Parent & Baby
Cost**: We offer Flexible Pricing for all groups.
Length: 90 minutes, once a week, for 11 weeks in Fall, Winter and Spring.
Families of Color Seattle (FOCS) offers virtual parent groups for families with newborns, waddlers, and multi-age affinity groups for families of color, including upcoming virtual Black Moms Groups. FOCS groups are intentional in creating space for conversations about race and equity, and focus on the journey of parenting children of color, centering their narratives. Discussions are facilitated through an anti-bias lens. We encourage families with children of color to also join a FOCS parent group. To learn more and register, visit their Groups information page.
Adjusting to Parenthood PEPS and Perinatal Support Washington offer a weekly virtual group, providing parents additional support for the emotional changes and challenges of adapting to parenthood.
*Topics covered in Baby Peppers are the same as the Newborn Program, adjusted for age. It is not an extension of the Newborn Program.
** Cost includes a non-refundable registration fee of $20 or 10% of the program fee, whichever is less. In the cases of changes or cancellations, please visit our FAQs page for the PEPS Cancellation and Refund Policy.

"The bonds that you make with the other moms and the babies was the best part of our experience. It is really easy to feel alone when you first have a baby and this was a great outlet." - PEPS Group Participant
