Baby Peppers
The PEPS Baby Peppers program is designed for new parents to attend with their baby, aged 5-12 months. Groups are available for one parent to attend with their baby (the same parent every week).
Groups come together for 11 weeks, with time for sharing parenting highs and lows, time to focus on the babies' development, and a discussion topic*. Meetings also include time for informal socializing and connecting with other parents.
Baby Peppers Groups meet virtually or at community sites. Families who are joining a site-based group will meet at the same location each week.
Who Attends: One Parent & Baby
Cost**: We offer Flexible Pricing for all groups.
Length: 90 minutes, once a week, for 11 weeks in Fall, Winter and Spring.
Neighborhood: Find your area.
Virtual groups will be offered based on the following regions: North Seattle, South Sound, Eastside, South Seattle, Snohomish, and you can select which region works best for you.
PEPS partners with Families of Color Seattle (FOCS), a local organization that offers free virtual and in-person parent groups tailored to different locations and stages, including North and South end newborns and waddlers. Additionally, Affinity Groups are available, bringing together individuals with common race, ethnic identity, or interests such as Black Moms, Parents of Neurodivergent Children, Dads, Single Parents, and Queer and Trans Families. Groups offer a nurturing environment to enhance parenting skills and facilitate discussions on identity and race. FOCS groups are facilitated by trained parents with lived experiences relevant to the group. We encourage families with children of color to join a FOCS parent group. For more information or to register online, visit their Parent Groups information page.
*Topics covered in Baby Peppers are the same as the Newborn Program, adjusted for age. It is not an extension of the Newborn Program.
** Cost includes a non-refundable registration fee of $20 or 10% of the program fee, whichever is less. In the cases of changes or cancellations, please visit our FAQs page for the PEPS Cancellation and Refund Policy.

"The bonds that you make with the other moms and the babies was the best part of our experience. It is really easy to feel alone when you first have a baby and this was a great outlet." - PEPS Group Participant
