The pilot to provide PEPS Groups in Portland is wrapping up at the end of August 2016. PEPS is honored to have launched 10 groups, serving 110 parents over the past year. It is clear and of no surprise that there is a need in Portland for parent peer support groups and we appreciate the opportunity to have explored and worked with the Portland community directly.

The strategic direction of PEPS moving forward is to focus on meeting more of the need in our local service area in Washington State through direct service, as well as reaching new communities and populations through partnerships within the PEPS Network. While we will no longer be providing PEPS Groups directly in Portland, we see the PEPS Network as a possible avenue for providing parent peer support in Portland in the future.
