GiveBIG Donor FAQ

Each year PEPS connects thousands of parents in facilitated peer support groups.

We are wholeheartedly committed to supporting parents adjusting to their new roles by connecting them with other parents going through similar experiences at the same time. We believe in the power of connection, the power of listening to each other, and the immense relief in knowing we have the support of a caring and passionate community.

Bottom line? Families need connection to be healthy and to thrive.

And many parents still need access to basic resources, childcare, stable housing, healthcare, and mental health services — which is why we are grateful to be in community with our partner organizations who work to meet these needs.

During this year's GiveBIG — a statewide campaign created to increase giving in our community — we encourage you to invest in parents and families by giving to PEPS, as well as one (or more!) of our partners.

Together, we can create a better world for our children. And for us.

Families of Color Seattle

Meet our Featured Partners

Families of Color Seattle (FOCS) is a local nonprofit organization led by parents of color and focuses on connecting parents to build a loving community of families of color. We equip parents and educators with the tools to talk with children about identity, racism, inclusion & equity, and trauma-informed practices.

Open Arms Perinatal Services

Open Arms Perinatal Services is a local non-profit organization that provides cultural and language-specific birth doulas to expectant parents from low-income households. Partnering together, we began by offering three site-based PEPS groups for Spanish-speaking mothers starting in the spring of 2018. Since then, we have teamed up repeatedly to provide services, support, and a community to more than 60 families total in over 6 groups.

Perinatal Support WA

Perinatal Support Washington (PS-WA) is a statewide non-profit committed to shining a light on perinatal mental health to support all families and communities. We believe all parents should receive appropriate, timely, and culturally relevant care from conception to baby's first birthday.
