Updates and Developments to PEPS Programs
[October 9, 2024]
Support and connection are vital for families, even more so during a time that researchers know to be a particularly isolating period. We know that when we strengthen our connection with one another, we are healthier, more resilient, and more fulfilled. Hundreds of new families are participating in PEPS Groups each week, finding a community to learn, reflect, and connect with during this critical time.
In-Person Groups
Beginning November 1, PEPS will no longer require participants meeting in person to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. Prior to that date, families who registered for an in-person Group will be asked to self-report that they have been fully vaccinated, and PEPS may request proof of vaccination at any time. Acceptable documents include your CDC COVID-19 vaccination record card (originals, copies, or photos accepted), certificate of COVID-19 vaccination, digital QR codes from MYIRmobile, or WA State Immunization Information System printout.
PEPS is not equipped to monitor all families’ immunization or health records and cannot guarantee that all families have been vaccinated. An inherent risk of exposure to these and other diseases exists in any public place where people are present regardless of vaccination status. Vaccines reduce the risks associated with contagious diseases.
Visit our In-Person PEPS Groups page to learn more and to register.
VIRTUAL GROUPS
Virtual groups continue to be offered, and families will meet online for the entirety of the sessions.
For families in virtual groups who feel comfortable getting together in person, we ask that they do so outside of their formal PEPS meetings.
Any updates or changes will be shared on this page and with participants and Group Leaders directly.
