Dad’s Social Hour

Dads Social Hour

Saturday, June 22, 2019 | 11am – 1pm

The Dane
8000 15th Ave NW
Seattle, WA 98117

We took a poll and we are responding to your requests for a social event — especially for dads!

Are you a new, expectant, or seasoned dad? Come meet other dads, compete for prizes, and join in on a conversation about the ups and downs of fatherhood with Randy Scott, a local licensed Couples Counselor. Randy will lead a conversation on how the different stages of fatherhood can shape the relationship with your children, spouse, and self. This will be Q&A style, so come with your questions!

All dads are welcome to this event. Children are welcome, though childcare will not be provided. Food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets are $10* per adult.

Randy Scott grew up in the wheat fields of Kansas, but has called Seattle home since 1999. As a Couples Counselor, Randy helps partners grow stronger relationships as they navigate tough topics like sex, money, and kids. Through his work at Seattle University in Student Development, he often plays the role of “Dad” to hundreds of students each year. Before becoming a therapist and an educator, Randy spent many years behind a microphone as a morning show radio host waking up the Pacific Northwest. But his most important job is being the dad to Tess (12) and Isabelle (8). His youngest daughter has Down syndrome and Randy believes that having a child with a disability can drastically change the fatherhood experience in challenging and rewarding ways.
