Baby Peppers
Baby Peppers is for parents and older infants to attend together. When a group begins, all babies are between five and twelve months old.

"The best part was sharing ideas and resources with other parents. Learned about songs, activities, books, places to take my baby, and getting around Seattle." (we'd just moved to the area.)

ADJUSTING TO PARENTHOOD
PEPS and Postpartum Support Int’l of WA offer a twice monthly group, offering parents additional support for the emotional changes and challenges of adapting to parenthood. >> Learn More
Baby Peppers is a place where group participants meet, share, and learn in volunteer-facilitated sessions. Each meeting includes time for sharing parenting highs and lows, followed by a group discussion on a topic related to the adventure of parenting. Meetings also include break time for informal socializing and connecting with other parents, time for singing songs to the babies and learning games to play.
Baby Peppers is open to all families with babies 5-12 months old when the group begins. Some of the families have participated in a PEPS Newborn Group, but many are new to the PEPS community.
All parents are welcome at Baby Peppers sessions, however, this is for 1 parent attendance not couples.
Cost
- $155 per family for an eleven-week program (spring, fall, or winter session)
- $120 per family for the eight-week summer session
Payment is due at time of registration.
Your payment can be refunded if you cancel at least three weeks before the group begins. If a group does not meet its minimum enrollment, as rarely happens, we will cancel it - in this case, you could either choose a different group to attend, or receive a full refund.
Reduced Fees for South Snohomish County Residents: Thanks to a generous grant from the Verdant Health Commission, families who live in the Public Hospital District 2 boundaries qualify for a reduced program fee. >>Click here to find out if you are eligible.
To apply for a scholarship: Fill out the registration form, then email our Program Coordinator, Cari Morales (carim@peps.org), before making payment so that your scholarship application can be reviewed and the scholarship amount applied.
Scholarships
PEPS is committed to serving every family who wishes to join our community. We happily provide scholarships, supported by our generous donors. Scholarships are income-based, and typically cover amounts equal to 25%-75% of tuition fees, with full scholarships in special situations. So, even if you don't think of yourself as "low income," if the regular fee is going to be a stretch for you financially, please apply for a scholarship.

** Bright Horizons Centers require all parents and children who attend PEPS Groups must be current on their vaccinations.
If a group is full and you'd like to be on the waitlist, please email waitlist@peps.org with the program and location in the subject line (i.e. Redmond Baby Peppers). If a spot becomes available, you will be contacted.
Please note: Due to the recent epidemic and continued concerns of Pertussis (Whooping Cough) in Washington State, PEPS has implemented a policy requiring that all adults who attend PEPS Groups must be current on their Tdap booster. Getting vaccinated with Tdap at least two weeks before coming into close contact with an infant is especially important for families with and caregivers of new infants. All babies must be current on the DTaP vaccine once they are old enough for the first dose. Families who do not comply with this policy cannot participate in PEPS at this time. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact Mary Power, PEPS Program Director: maryp@peps.org.
