Newborn
The PEPS Newborn program is designed for parents to attend with their babies, aged 2-20 weeks old, when the group starts. Groups are available for one parent to attend with their newborn (the same parent every week), along with options for one parent plus a partner (and newborn!) to attend. Groups come together for 12 weeks with time for sharing parenting highs and lows, to focus on the babies' development and a discussion topic. Meetings also include time for informal socializing and connecting with other parents. PEPS Groups continue to meet virtually, with selected groups meeting in person at community sites.

Families of Color Seattle (FOCS) offers virtual parent groups for families with newborns, waddlers, and multi-age affinity groups for families of color, including upcoming virtual Black Moms Groups. FOCS groups are intentional in creating space for conversations about race and equity, and focus on the journey of parenting children of color, centering their narratives. Discussions are facilitated through an anti-bias lens. We encourage families with children of color to also join a FOCS parent group. To learn more and register, visit their Groups information page.
Adjusting to Parenthood PEPS and Perinatal Support Washington offer a weekly virtual group, providing parents additional support for the emotional changes and challenges of adapting to parenthood.

"The best thing about PEPS was the camaraderie. Meeting with these mamas and their babies every week and creating that connection was invaluable. I learned so much about myself, my abilities, and my baby, and made life long friends. PEPS is amazing!" - PEPS Group Participant
"This was the best parenting (and partnering) decision we have made. It aligned us with other parents in our neighborhood and it helps to filter through things that might feel overwhelming. Also, it is so great to share all the fun (and less fun) sides of parenting with other people who know and want to hear about it!" - PEPS Group Participant
