PEPS Little Wonders

At PEPS, we have continuously heard from parents caring for children with developmental challenges that they would appreciate and benefit from connecting with other families who share this identity. We are excited to share that we will be partnering with Wonderland Child and Family Services to introduce a pilot program for families caring for children with developmental delays and disabilities this summer!

This is a free 8-week pilot program developed specifically for local parents and caregivers caring for young children with developmental delays and disabilities. This online peer-support series has been designed to assist parents in finding support and resources, and build community. Each week, there will be a discussion topic facilitated by a Wonderland staff member trained in inclusive facilitation, along with time for socializing and connection.

Our organization will be using this series to learn, adapt, and continuously enhance the curriculum. Be sure to participate in our brief surveys to share your feedback and help this program grow!

Wonderland is a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving children ages birth to six years in north King and south Snohomish counties with developmental delays and disabilities. They offer comprehensive developmental evaluations and early intervention.

PEPS is developing this pilot series in partnership with Wonderland Child and Family Services, a nonprofit agency serving children with developmental delays and disabilities. Wonderland is dedicated to helping children meet healthy developmental milestones through their early-support services and Hope RISING Clinic for Prenatal Substance Exposure. The early-support services are for children birth to three with a range of developmental challenges—from speech and motor delays to feeding issues and autism. For children with prenatal exposure to drugs or alcohol, Wonderland provides trauma-informed care up to the age of 13 at the Hope RISING Clinic.
