Inviting Grandparents In: Keeping the Invitation Open
PEPS recognizes the vital role of grandparents in their children’s and grandchildren’s lives and offers opportunities for grandparents to come together for support, shared information, and learning.
In our March Grandparent Gathering we'll be exploring a profound aspect of grandparenting: maintaining and strengthening our relationships with adult children to keep the doors open for meaningful connections with our grandchildren. While being a grandparent brings immense joy and fulfillment, it also requires navigating complex family dynamics with sensitivity and wisdom.
Parents are the bridge to our grandchildren, and nurturing these relationships requires thoughtful awareness, respect for boundaries, and a commitment to supporting both generations.
Join speaker Kathy Melman, PhD, a grandparent herself, as she shares practical strategies for creating positive, lasting bonds while honoring parents' primary role in their children's lives.
