Little Peppers

PEPS Little Peppers

At Little Peppers, one parent attends with 2 children, age 3 and under, typically a toddler and a newborn; the same parent attends each week. Groups are led by a professional facilitator, who is assisted by a trained childcare provider. Each meeting includes time for sharing parenting highs and lows, time to focus on the babies' development and a discussion topic. Babies and children remain in the room with their parents for the entire meeting - which makes for quite a busy and exciting time!

If you are interested in a siblings group where you can attend with just your new baby, please check out Second Time Around.

PEPS Parents Say It Best

"Meeting other families with two kids - we were the first ones from our Newborn PEPS group to have a second child, so great to meet other families with multiple kids! Our group was a great "practice session" to gaining confidence on getting out of the house with two little kids. I was too intimidated at first to take the kids to the zoo or science center, but felt great about taking them to the PEPS group while I got my sea legs :)"

Please note: Due to the recent epidemic and continued concerns of Pertussis (Whooping Cough) in Washington State, PEPS has implemented a policy requiring that all adults who attend PEPS Groups must be current on their Tdap vaccination. Getting vaccinated with Tdap at least two weeks before coming into close contact with an infant is especially important for families and caregivers of new infants.

All babies must be current on the DTaP vaccine once they are old enough for the first dose. Families who do not comply with this policy cannot participate in PEPS at this time.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact peps@peps.org.
