Sarah Crystal

Sarah Crystal (she/her) is a child clinical psychologist who has spent the last decade working with children, adolescents, and parents. She has practiced in outpatient, inpatient, and residential treatment facilities, providing diagnostic evaluations, individual and group therapy, and parent coaching. She has received training at Seattle Children’s and Ryther Child Center and recently worked as a psychologist at the International Center of Autism and Neurodevelopment (ICAN) in Issaquah, conducting neurodevelopmental evaluations.

Sarah first became acquainted with PEPS when she participated in a Newborn PEPS Group in 2015. She then trained and volunteered to become a Newborn PEPS Group leader in 2017.  Sarah is excited to begin working at PEPS and be a team member of the organization that supported her as she transitioned to motherhood. She is also eager to help create and launch the Program for Parents of Adolescents and Teens (PAT) at PEPS, an initiative that strives to build parental resilience, education, and community, and foster wellness within the parent-adolescent dyad.

Outside of PEPS: Sarah lives in Seattle with her husband and their four children. She enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, cooking and eating, taking low-tide beach walks, and power yoga.

Education: Sarah received her BA in Religion and Philosophy from Emory University and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. She completed her APA child psychology internship at the School of Medicine, University of New Mexico, and her clinical child fellowship at the International Center of Autism and Neurodevelopment (ICAN) in Issaquah.
