... by the end of 2010 we will have launched over 180 PEPS Newborn Groups serving new parents in their time of greatest need, those first few months of stress, joy and sleepless nights.
- Your donation of $200 (or $17 per month/year) provides one full scholarship for one couple and their baby participating in a PEPS Group. PEPS provides needs-based scholarships for every parent unable to pay the program fee (about 150 annually).
- Your donation of $332 (or $28 per month/year) helps us recruit, train, and recognize 2 volunteer group leaders. Our volunteer group leaders are the heart and soul of our program. Without them, we would not be able to do what we do.
... parents who missed out on a PEPS Group experience during the first four months now have a second chance through our Baby Peppers program for parents with infants 5-12 months old and our Little Peppers program for parents with an infant and a toddler.
- Your donation of $330 (or $27.50 per month/year) covers the cost of the site for 1 Baby Peppers group for 11 weeks. PEPS hosted 11 Baby Peppers groups in 2010, serving 108 families. These group meetings have busy, active crawlers and toddlers, so are held in public sites suited for this age group.
- Your donation of $1,550 (or $129 per month/year) covers the cost for 1 Little Peppers group facilitator and site for 11 weeks. PEPS hosted 12 Little Peppers Groups in 2010 serving 100 families. That's 100 parents, 100 babies, and 100 toddlers! Due to the challenges of facilitating a support group with busy toddlers in the room, Little Peppers facilitators are paid.
... we now offer free monthly supplemental support groups for parents who experience specific situations like single parenting or LGTB parents.
- Your donation of $500 (or $42 per month/year) covers the annual cost for one monthly supplemental support group (which is free of charge to our participants).
