Our 2011 Luncheon Guests & Table Captains Were Inspired!

"Parenting at its heart is a relational enterprise!" ~ Dr. John Medina,
|
"It's true that PEPS has been building communities for families, often in the absence of traditional support systems, since 1983, and while PEPS has launched thousands of local families on their parenting journey, there is still much work to be done." ~ Laura Kussick, PEPS Executive Director & |
"This Luncheon today serves to acknowledge the power that community can bring to a person’s life; this experience has fundamentally made me understand how the meaning of life lies in the ability to find connection in a huge world; PEPS works every day to make this possible for so many people in Seattle; there is no more important work than this."

"I'm so glad I was able to make it to the PEPS Luncheon. I've been involved in the planning for these kinds of events, so I appreciate how smoothly this one went--great food, great exhibitors, fab pops. And, the program was tight and compelling. Your testimonial speaker singlehandedly doubled my donation!"
-
"Hi there, the PEPS luncheon was absolutely wonderful! Great speakers, excellent food, and, most importantly, a ton of positive energy and excitement about the good work you do. Congratulations on a job well done! Best wishes."
-
"Your testimonial speaker and Dr. Medina were both amazing. They really brought home the message of PEPS' fundamental success of building community amongst parents and how that benefits families. They were both absolute slam dunk speakers."
-
"The highlight for me is always seing the sense of community this organization has developed. I am a grandmother so do not have active participation in PEPS but raised my children in an era when community was very important and I see the importance to further that mission."
-
"I really like the venue, the food, the opportunity to get together with my PEPS Group. I come to support this organization because it meant so much to me. Thank you for the great planning that goes into this every year." -
"I loved the family style luncheon service. Knowing my table captain thought the charity was worthy enough to sit on the board of directors, made me want to support her and give more."
