Why Support PEPS?
PEPS, a nonprofit relies on the generosity of foundations, corporate sponsors, community partners & donors to provide access to parent support for new parents.
From our Families
"What does PEPS mean to our family? Sanity, joy, comfort, understanding, support, friendship, opportunities, education. One word: Everything.”
~ Lexie Tigre,PEPS participant
Every parent understands the highs and lows of parenting and knows that there are times when parenting just feels too hard. That's where PEPS comes in.
Since 1983, PEPS has helped thousands of parents escape isolation and find the support they need to navigate the parenting adventure, to develop positive parenting skills, and to build a community of families connected through their shared experiences. Learn how PEPS programs so effectively impact families by reading our theory of factors that build family wellness, and results from our outcomes evaluations.
PEPS parents often build lasting relationships that become like an extended family. Some Groups have been sharing the adventures of parenting for over twenty years!
As a nonprofit organization, PEPS relies on the generosity of foundations, corporations, and individuals to ensure that ALL parents have access to top-notch programming. Consistent with our commitment to making PEPS as accessible as possible, program fees represent only 50% of PEPS’ annual budget. For the remainder, we look to our generous community.
From volunteer leaders to individual donor to foundation program officers, people who are passionate about parenting ensure that parents have access to programming which will help their families thrive. Whether you donate your time, treasure, or talent, we appreciate your support.

Your Support Helps PEPS:
- Provide scholarships so that all families who are interested in PEPS can participate. PEPS never turns anyone away from our programs due to financial reasons.
- Recruit and train facilitators so that every PEPS Group receives the support they need. PEPS believes the key of a successful PEPS Group is the group facilitator and that’s why we invest in quality training, supervision, evaluation and support for the Group leaders.
- Get the word out and expand our programs to families who don’t know about PEPS. In order to increase the number of parents served through our programs, we are investing in strategic marketing efforts.
