PEPS Unplugged

Hello PEPS parents and community partners!

Last month I had the pleasure of attending my first Annual PEPS Benefit Lunch.  It was truly a fun, heartwarming and memorable event.  I would like to thank everyone who came out to share time together, reconnect, and give back to PEPS. 

My favorite part of the event was visiting with parents, all at different stages of their journey, who understand and have experienced the tremendous value of parent support and its impact on building confident moms and dads and family wellness.  It’s no surprise that all the parents in that room were smiling and happy, as they all had benefited from the unique connections and community that is the hallmark of PEPS.

Not only is the Luncheon a fun thing to do but it happens to be our biggest fundraiser of the year.  Thanks to everyone’s generosity, and the success of this year’s Benefit Lunch (we raised over $100,000!), PEPS can continue to give scholarships to any family in need.  We can continue to serve more families through increased programming options such as Little Peppers, Baby Peppers, supplemental groups and Lecture Series. We can continue to research and develop our curriculum so that it is timely and relevant, and we can continue to recruit and train leaders so that they can be responsive to the changing needs of the new parent community.

I look forward to seeing more of the PEPS community in the upcoming months.  Mark your calendar for  PEPSapalooza, our fabulous summer music festival, coming up on Saturday, August 14th.
