Mary oversees all PEPS programs, including Newborn Programs, Baby Peppers, Little Peppers, and Lecture Series. She is responsible for budget and financial sustainability of groups, staff supervision, and is PEPS' liaison to community partners.
Background: Mary lives in Seattle with her husband Kevin and daughter Miranda. Her first involvement with PEPS was the newborn daytime group that she joined in 2007 when Miranda was born. That group continues to meet on a regular basis and is now a wonderful, supportive community for the group of moms, dads, original babies and growing number of new siblings! Mary led two newborn groups in 2009 & 2010 and gained even more respect for the contribution PEPS makes to new parents' lives. Mary's career has focused on managing training programs and projects for public libraries and non-profits, and her most recent job before joining PEPS was as the Staff Development Coordinator for the Seattle Public Library.
Outside of PEPS: Mary enjoys spending time with her family, reading, cooking, and traveling.
Education: Mary holds a BA from the University of Central Florida, and a Master's in Library and Information Science (MLIS) from the University of Pittsburgh.
