“My husband and I are the "last" of our friends to have a child. Several friends participated in PEPS and raved about it but I didn't feel like it was necessary since I had so many friends with children already.
But then my daughter had horrible colic and no one seemed to know what to tell me. I was pretty much afraid to leave my house, and totally sleep deprived. I finally decided that an organized group would force me to get out at least once a week. I was still hesitant but the group leader (fabulous Monique) convinced me to come and try it out.
I am so happy that I did! I found that it was so supportive and wonderful to have people who ONLY knew me as a parent and didn't compare my behavior to the way I was BEFORE. My daughter turns 1 this month and our group is still meeting. I feel so lucky to have PEPS in our lives!”
